MXP15 Structural Adhesive

Lockfast MXP15 a 2-part acrylic structural bonder.

MXP15 is a Methyl methacrylate based bonder sometimes referred to as a 2 part MMA structural adhesive. It is designed for high strength structural bonding of a wide variety of materials, but is particularly suitable for bonding aluminium and plated metals, with a working time of 15-18 minutes.

MXP15 has excellent chemical resistance to hydrocarbon solvents, acids and bases between 3 and 10 pH. It can be used to bond a wide range of substrate materials including,

Aluminium, Galvinised Steel (HDG, HRG), PVC, Polycarbonates, Vinyl, Carbon fibre, Stainless steel, ABS, Acrylics, Styrenics, Gelcoats, FRP (fibre reinforced plastics), Polyesters and Urethanes.

Directions for use

This product may be applied manually or with automated equipment. We supply a range of static mixer nozzles, selection is important to the correct functioning of this adhesive; if unsure please contact us for specific advice on static mixer nozzles or other ancillary support we may offer. To assure the ultimate bond strength, parts must be assembled within the specified working time. Ensure that the jointed area is filled with adhesive when the surfaces are mated. All adhesive application, part positioning and fixturing should be completed within the working time of the adhesive. All automated equipment should be constructed of stainless steel or aluminium.
